My name is Dani and I am a 25-year-old Environmental Biology graduate who is extremely passionate about the ocean, marine wildlife, and the conservation of marine habitats. This passion began when I first started snorkeling and scuba diving with my father 15 years ago in remote and diverse coral reefs around the world.
I earned my PADI Open Water certification when I was 14 years old. Since then, I have continued to pursue additional certifications, but it wasn’t until this year that I decided to take on the PADI Divemaster course.

I grew up along the Costa Brava in Spain, so the sea has always been a big part of my life. During the summer, there wasn’t a single day I didn’t spend in the water—whether freediving or scuba diving.
My passion for nature photography began when I was 9 years old, during my first trip to Costa Rica. Since then, I’ve been capturing wildlife and gradually upgrading my equipment. At 18, I ventured into underwater photography—a turning point in my creative journey.
My work has been featured by organizations such as National Geographic, Australian Geographic, Ocean Nations, Africa Geographic, and Rawr Szn. I’ve also begun organizing exhibitions to showcase my photography.
My goal is to help people connect deeply with the ocean and its inhabitants through my images, raising awareness of the importance of conservation so we can better protect our world.

With a background in Environmental Biology, I have participated in various marine science internship programs, including one in Mozambique and another in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. During these experiences, I employed a range of scientific methods to collect data on local fish and coral species, studied coral reef bleaching, and photographed manta rays and humpback whales for identification purposes.
My journey with the ocean is just beginning. One of my biggest dreams is to travel to French Polynesia to photograph the majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. I also hope to dive in some of the world’s most iconic marine sanctuaries—the Galápagos, Cocos Island, and the Revillagigedo Archipelago—where marine life thrives at its fullest.
And one day, I dream of reaching the icy waters of Antarctica, to explore and capture the mysterious underwater world of the southernmost seas.
Through these experiences, I hope to keep sharing the magic of the ocean, inspiring others to care for and protect it.
